A little sugar.
A lot of heart.
Sweetie’s Sugar Co. started in 2011 with a pretty simple idea: everybody deserved a better hair removal experience.
But the story actually starts a little earlier.
I've struggled with psoriasis for years. And while I was in cosmetology school, I was introduced to sugaring — a method of hair removal that was just beginning to find its footing here in the States.
My instructor mentioned that sugaring could be a gentler alternative to traditional waxing for people with sensitive skin, including those dealing with conditions like psoriasis and eczema.
And I remember thinking, if this could make hair removal more accessible to people with sensitive skin, why wouldn't everybody do it?
And just like that, the seed for Sweetie’s was planted.
I didn't just want to offer better hair removal. I wanted to create a better experience.
One where you could ask the awkward questions, laugh at the uncomfortable moments, and never once feel judged for the body you walked in with.
I helped introduce sugaring to Dallas when most people had never heard of it. And what started as a little studio became something I never could have manufactured — a community.
Over the years, we've shared stories, celebrated milestones, laughed until we cried, and yes, removed a whole lot of hair.
Through it all, one thing has remained the same: I specialize in sugaring because I believe in being really damn good at what I do.
But what matters just as much is how you feel while you're here.
Sugaring for Everybody & Every Body.
It's not just our tagline. It's been the point since day one.
